freedom from religion

I am going around the bend in a world that believe it is free

Whenever religion exists freedom is something that cannot be

I choose a secular life, but still religion thrusts on

I am sick and tired of hearing the same songs

I need to be in a world where I’m free

But with religion, that cannot be

Rainy memories

Darkness is wrapping itself around me today

It is getting stormy

The rain trickles down my window

The air is getting damp

My bones start creaking with the weather

My muscles start to cramp

But I look on, out that window

To see what weather does

I see grass waving at me in the wind

The atmosphere has a buzz

I feel so sleepy watching this

I dream of better days

But whilst I sit here watching it all

The fire is ablaze

I am wrapped up nice and warm

Watching this rainy weather

Then I sigh and think of you

And how we were together

A smile forms upon my face of memories almost forgotten

How soft your skin was in those days, almost like pure cotton

I fall asleep in my chair, with the memories I hold of you

And I dream of times that were from past, before your sudden adieu

You will live on in my heart; there you’ll always have a place

I remember fondly your sweet and smiling face

I will join you shortly dear

My life has been long but good

And together we’ll be in heaven

Just like lovers should

dreams are like snow

You can fly away from here

In your dreams you will soar

I can’t speak of the things you’ll learn to know

But all you need to know is it will be wonderful

Like snow, a miracle

A dream comes true

But like snow it will soon fade away

But you’ll dream another day

In some place, in some way

Dreams will come again

And each time they do

You’ll mend

star gate keeper

I am beckoning you to play

Here you are to stay

In my immortal realm

I cannot fear

Those things I’m meant to fear

But I know that it wasn’t always this way

I’m a dreamer of the star gate keeper

Dreaming of a time I’m free

And maybe I will say

I am real

says the divine

You’re sweet as wine says the divine

You’ll excel you shall

I do not know what they mean

But I thank them and to them I hail

You are a wonder says the divine

You’ve done better things than planned

I try to know what they mean and my life I carefully scan

Do not think too much says the divine

You will see one day

That you are valued more than that of which that you can weigh

I am pleased by what I hear, but I am still unsure

The divine ones told me if I wait, I’ll see many exits and many a door

My perceptions of dark and light are only unique to me

Some things that I find good, might be bleak to thee

But whether they are good or bad, they are my perceptions only

Do we really want to cause a fuss on opinions that could make us lonely?

Nay I say, but will you too?

Are you bothered by thoughts when you haven’t yet a clue?

Vibrations

The earth has a heart that is pounding

I feel her vibrations under foot

I know she is living that doesn’t astound me

I always knew that she was forsook

Humanity complains when her essence they have drained

All her goodness, all her charms, all her blood

But when will they realize that she is much more, than wide oceans, sky, creatures and mud?

This is a song in progress, I will add more to it another time but at the moment it’s a little hard to concentrate when your 3yr old is running a temperature and is tetchy about everything.  I think this is going to be a great song, I have the tune in my head and everything and it’s really frustrating that I don’t have Cu-base anymore to help me put it down in music – as I’ve said numerous times before I can’t read or write music.

I don’t know why but when I thinking about this song I was thinking of at least two singers who’d it fits vocally.  Those were Ed Sheeran and maybe Gotye, I know if this song ever got sold that it might not be those who’ll sing it, but I think it would suit their voice.  Even Lady GaGa might like this as an Earth awareness album someday?  But who knows, I think she does better when she writes her own stuff anyway.

welcome to my world

There is a place I’d rather be, a place that’s elegant where I am free

It is a place of wondrous sights

It is a place feared as night

But in this world I am the queen and nothing is as it seems

I hold the magic and I hold the keys

If you visit you’ll be on your knees

Welcome to my world

whispers of the vampire

There is something that I want from you

Something I find precious

There is a substance deep within you

Ruby red and scrumptious

I need the liquor from your veins

I know it sounds quite mad

For surely you won’t give it and a fight we’ll have

But I am no ordinary monster for sure

I am positive you cannot pull yourself away from my allure

Hypnotic eyes will entrance you

I will take your life and you won’t have a clue

spices

Nutmeg and cinnamon, spices galore

Sweet cloves and cardamom are things I adore

Fenugreek and ginger, little pinch of bay

Lovely smells and flavors from cooking this way

How I love my spices, the scent and the flair

How I’d love to share them, with everyone and everywhere

Obsessed witch

I mix my potions to make you love me

I have dreams that you’ll want me

I am hopeful that you’ll be mine

Forevermore to the ends of time

I can’t see another picture

My minds obsessed with your essence

Some say I have no conscience

But dutifully I build your shrine
