A ghostly sorrow

I dance in the streets of death and drink the acid rain

Green is my vision of the future but all colours are drained

A monochrome world one hundred shades of black

My heart has stopped its beating and it won’t turn back

I am cold where I left you, clasping my purple grey hand

In a world of colourful pain, your grief I cannot stand

So I turn away to forget you, so you can heal your strife

And I can heal from all the wounds I’ve gathered through life
